Dr Ella Kangaude is the current Centre Manager at Management Development Centre (MDC) which is under School of Business and Economics Sciences (SoBEs). Dr Kangaude completed her PhD in Entrepreneurship at the University of Lusaka in Zambia in 2019. She also holds a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) which she both attained from the University of Malawi (UNIMA), the Polytechnic in 2005 and 1999 respectively.

Dr. Kangaude has more than twenty years of research experience and has been at the centre of several consultancies in strategic plan development, training needs analysis, monitoring and evaluation among others.

Among other management positions she has held outside the academia include Director of Commerce and Industry at Lilongwe City Council and Training and Development Manager at NBS Bank. 

An accomplished scholar, Dr. Kangaude, brings a wealth of expertise to her role as Centre Manager of MDC.
